“Just made my first sale and I am absolutely excited. I’ve been at this for a couple of months now and it was absolutely thrilling. My favorite part is the classroom online that allows me to go at my own pace. The coaching is delightful. They are all knowledgeable. The website is very exciting and more than I could have ever expected. The PMI Toolbar was also very helpful.” – David C.

Professional Marketing International Provides Industry Leading Curriculum

May 16th, 2011   •   No Comments

A training program is only as valuable as its resources, and Professional Marketing International (PMI) has always ensured that their curriculum is the best in the industry. Business and technology change daily, meaning that updated information is essential for success. PMI is proud to provide its clients with the most accurate and modern lessons available.

This commitment to quality doesn’t go unnoticed. PMI client Elizabeth O., who has spent nearly two decades as a university educator, had this to say about the curriculum:

This is a well organized, well planned out system. I was a university educator for nearly 20 years before I was forced to retire in June 2009 because of a cut in state support to my institution. I have never seen a non-academic program as well planned out  as this.

This is impressive. I was not 100% sure I would keep this program, but with this kind of orientation you presented, I am staying because it is going to be a great and successful adventure for me. Please start thinking about taking this to the next step. Contact the academic dean of a 2 or 4 year college and introduce your idea and this layout. You could be offering this course for college credit. This is incredible.

It’s extremely rewarding to receive this kind of feedback. In a world where efficiency is sometimes valued over quality, PMI’s thoughtful approach to curriculum is rare indeed

Multitasking never works as well as focusing

May 11th, 2011   •   No Comments

People can’t really perform multiple tasks at the same time. Many are able to switch back and forth between multiple tasks, and the good ones can pick up where they left off without losing much traction. We call this multitasking. However, your brain is the real multitasker – simultaneously keeping your heart beating, maintaining body temperature, digesting food, fighting off disease, etc. – and adding multiple conscientious tasks on top of that just doesn’t work.

And it turns out, you’re better off not trying to multitask. You’ll be more efficient by earnestly focusing on one task at a time. Here’s how:

  • Use a to-do list: Before you get started each day, make a list of all the things you need to accomplish that day.
  • Make tasks measurable: For anything you can, attach a metric that will help you gauge how much you’ve accomplished and how well you did.
  • Prioritize: With that list, decide what needs to be accomplished when. The most important or immediate tasks should be accomplished first.
  • Set aside focus time: Depending on your circumstances, it’s likely you can’t place yourself in a completely distraction-free environment all day. However, you can set aside a period of time.
  • Practice focusing: like anything, learning how to properly focus takes practice. Start small, with 10 or 15 minute segments. Once you get comfortable, you can extend those.
  • Remove all distractions: Turn off your phone. Close any notification software you may have. If possible, turn off your computer. Let anyone around you know that you can’t be bothered for the next 15 minutes.
  • Take time to clear your mind: Between tasks, take some time to clear your mind; you don’t want the previous task seeping over into your new task.
  • Review your accomplishments: At the end of the day, take some time to review what you’ve accomplished. You’ll be able to better establish personal practices which will improve your efficiency and focus.

Tips To Increase Online Sales And Get Cash Online

April 29th, 2011   •   No Comments

Anyone who owns a business would definitely like to generate more sales, in other words, have a successful business. If you are a web based biz owner and you wish to increase online sales in order to get cash online that’s substantial, better follow the tips and tricks discussed below:

1. Build a good quality website that can be found easily on the Web.

One of the very first steps you have to take as an Internet business owner is to ensure that your website is of good-quality and is easily seen in search engine results. First and foremost, you should incorporate search engine optimization strategies e.g. have niche related keywords on the website, have fast-loading pages, and so on, as without SEO, you’ll find it difficult to generate more sales, let alone have a successful business. To increase online sales, remember that your site should also be of great quality – meaning that it should have quality-content, is organized, and have non plagiarized information. Most of the time, the main culprit as to why a biz owner isn’t able to get cash online is his or her website.

2. Utilize e-mail marketing.

Through email marketing, you’ll be able to remind potential customers and existing customers that your business is still alive. This technique can also be a means to promote new products or services, plus market ‘old’ products and services, not to mention inform people of any ongoing promotion, sale, and so on. Of course, you first have to get the email addresses of your site visitors and clients e.g. through an opt in page in your site so that you can use e-mail marketing to generate more sales.

3. Make detailed product descriptions in the site.

Another technique to increase online sales and have a successful business is to add accurate and enticing descriptions for each product on your web site. Most people, after all, want to be convinced first that a product or a service is worth purchasing or trying out. Make sure to include complete product descriptions with features and benefits to make people more interested in what you’re offering. For instance, if you’re selling a ring, include the type of element the ring is made of e.g. silver, platinum, gold, etc, the kind of stone it has, the carat, the weight, and so forth. It is also vital that you add a photo of the actual ring especially since most potential buyers want to have an idea of the product first, and this technique, of course, can help you get cash online.

To increase online sales and actually have a successful business, keep in mind too that traffic building is important. You should submit the website to major site directories, send email newsletters to people, perform article marketing, etc, so as to build a significant amount of traffic.
